
Zorica Bilic
Country Coordinator from GIZ Open Regional Funds for South East Europe - Modernisation of Municipal Services and Information Technology Department from the city of Rijeka, Croatia
Zorica Bilic is a municipal development expert with professional experience in local economic development policies, good governance, capacity building and regional cooperation. She graduated International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade. Over the last 16 years she has been promoting sustainable development through the design and implementation of complex development projects on regional, national and local level and fostering cooperation between public, private and civil sector. From 2007 she is actively engaged in municipal cross border and regional cooperation in Western Balkans. As of 2013 she is working for GIZ Open Regional Fund for SEE – Modernization of Municipal Services as a country coordinator for Serbia and a Senior Project Manager where she has managed and contributed to a number of measures and projects involving innovative and digital solutions for improvement of municipal services and development.
