Eric Murrell is a 35+ year telecommunications veteran. He has worked primarily in the vendor community with large and small vendors alike, helping them grow market share with a varied career in product management, systems engineering and sales. For the past three years, he has been working with the Open Networking Foundation (ONF). There he actively works to grow their ecosystem of operators, vendors and system integrators. ONF is a non-profit consortium seeking to transform the industry using open-source, cloudification and network disaggregation. They are driven by operators but fueled by vendors and system integrators. He holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Texas @ Arlington where he currently serves on their Advisory Board for the College of Engineering.
