Anastas Mishev is a professor at the Faculty of computer science and engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. The focus of his research are infrastructures for collaborative computing. His aim is to get these systems closer to all potential users, mainly the research communities, in order to fully use their enormous potential. His expertise spans computer architectures and networks, grid and cloud computing, software engineering, internet technologies and e-learning. Anastas has participated in the implementation of over 30 international projects targeting the development of IT infrastructures. He is a former member the board of MARNet, where hi is also a GEANT GA representative. He is member of the Governance Board of EOSC Association, as well as a member of the Governing Board of the EuroHPC JU. Currently he co-leads the regional effort for the South East Europe in GEANT
