Co-Founder of Cacttus & Recura

Driton Hapciu is a Kosovar* born cooperative and lifestyle entrepreneur. Born and lives in Prishtina, Kosovo*.

Mr. Hapçiu is one of the founding partners and was CEO of CACTTUS sh.a (2006-2008 & 2017-2019), and since 2003 responsible for strategic development and innovation. CACTTUS sh.a  is a group of 4 x companies (Software development; System Integration; Business Solutions and Edcuation) and is one of the largest IT companies in the country as well as present in Albania and Northern Macedonia.

He is also one of the founding and managing partners of RECURA sh.a, one of the largest financial advisory services (FAS – M&A; Asset management, Financial Advisory Services) companies in Kosovo*, Albania and region.

Being active in ICT industry in Kosovo* since 1991, he is also one of the co-founders of the ICT Association (STIKK) and was its Chairman and member of the Board for number of years. He designed and headed the project idea of creating an Innovation Hub, which resulted in founding of the Innovation Center of Kosova (ICK), where he remains very active member of the board.

During his career, he was involved early on as a co-founder and/or social entrepreneur in a number of startup’s turned into successful companies and organizations .

His latest projects (co-founder) include: RECURA Private Equity Fund , CACTTUS Education (cofounder – CACTUS spin-off) HARRISIA (Software Development Company- CACTTUS spin-off), PeshkuiArte.com (Online Classifieds), CONCEPTICON (Corporate & Technology Strategy), SociaLive (Social Media Marketing) and KOSOVALIVE News Agency.

Currently holds the positions or is involved in: Member of the Board in CACTTUS & RECURA, Member of the Board of Innovation Center of Kosova (ICK), Member of the Board in NGO “TOKA”; Member of the Board in “LUMBARDHI” Foundation; CEED Network Mentor. He is also active member of the Kosovo* Business Angels Club Initiative.
