Thomas Bareiß

Thomas Bareiß

Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and elected Member of the German Bundestag.

Born February 15th, 1975 in Albstadt-Ebingen, Germany.

Thomas Bareiß is Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Since 2005, Thomas Bareiß is elected Member of the German Bundestag. From 2010 to 2018 he was Representative for Energy Policy of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group.

From 2002 and 2006 Thomas Bareiß was Chairman of the Junge Union in Baden-Württemberg, the youth organisation of CDU. Since 2002 he is Advisory member of the state executive of the CDU Baden-Württemberg and since 2004 he is Chairman of the CDU in the region Zollernalb. Since 2011 Thomas Bareiß is Chairman of the CDU Württemberg-Hohenzollern.

Thomas Bareiß studied Business Administration at the University of Cooperative education in Ravensburg. From 1998 to 1999 he gained experience abroad in a Textile Company in Izmir (Turkey), in an Industrial enterprise in Phoenix/Arizona (USA).  From 1999 to 2005 he was Assistant to the managing director and head of Financial Controlling, electronic data processing and organisation in a textile company in Meßstetten, Baden-Württemberg.
